Finally a new album of Arctic Monkeys! They will release their highly anticipated 6th album ‘Tranquility Base Hotel + Casino’ on the 11th of May. The album is produced by James Ford (Depeche Mode, The Last Shadow Puppets) and Alex Turner himself. It was recorded in Los Angeles, Paris and London. It’s been five years since the release of their last album ‘AM’ (including the single ‘Do I Wanna Know’). This was the most successful album of the band to date. Arctic Monkeys became one of the most popular (Indie) Rock bands from the UK since their debut album ‘Whatever People Say I Am, That’s What I’m Not’ in 2006.
