BELCANTO, GUIDO – Plastic Rozen Verwelken Niet

Starman Records releases the first five albums, originally released by EMI, by Guido Belcanto remastered on vinyl. Earlier this year there was already the re-release on black, red and yellow vinyl of the classic debut from 1989 “Op Search To Romance”. Now it is the turn of the strong successor “Plastic Roses Don’t Verwelken” from 1990, which will be released on black and pink vinyl. The record was recorded in the Netherlands in May 1990 with the late Henny Vrienten as producer and contains classics such as ‘Vlammetjes’, ‘My Birthday’ or ‘Rode Lampen en Havenvampen’. Guido Belcanto has a total of 15 studio albums and various compilations to his name. With a catalog of about 300 songs, he is one of the figureheads of Flemish song. A phenomenon that still fills the halls with its heartwarming and intense performances.
