Aural Sculpture was a hugely underrated album by a group whom many unrightfully thought were only relevant in the ’70s. Despite the somewhat pretentious title, the songs on this album are strong pop compositions.It would seem the often heavy-handed Stranglers went into the studio and decided to have some fun, as evinced in “Mad Hatter” and “Punch & Judy”. It also contains one of their biggest hits to date: “Skin Deep”. On top of that, this 180 gram double audiophile version also includes 11 (!) bonus tracks!
